I work with researchers, engineers, founders, clinicians, and leaders who have something substantial to say about science and technology and want help turning it into a book.
I bring 28 years in safety-critical technology across aerospace, automotive, nuclear, and medical domains, along with interviewing, research, and clear prose for general readers.
## Books and Collaborative Nonfiction
**Ghostwriting** — your book, in your voice, under your name. I do not list or discuss confidential projects.
**Credited collaboration** — a shared byline or "with" credit, agreed at the start.
**Book proposals** — the argument, chapter outline, and sample chapter that an agent or publisher needs to see first.
The work covers finding the central argument, organising research and interviews, shaping the chapter structure, and drafting and revising the manuscript with you.
Subjects include AI and autonomy, safety-critical engineering, and the wider ways science and technology change how people live and work.
## For Agents and Editors
If you represent an author who needs a collaborator, a short note on the project, the author, and the timetable is enough to start. I am happy to talk early, before a proposal exists.
## How a Project Begins
We start with the reader, the question, and the material you already have. Before drafting, we agree the scope, research and interviews, timetable, credit, confidentiality, and how review and approval will work. A larger project can begin with a separately scoped proposal or sample chapter.
Alongside my role at QA-Systems, I take on a small number of book and writing projects and schedule each one individually.
